Founder & President
Andy Kushner, CCIM
Andy Kushner brings over 30 years of extensive experience in real estate sales, marketing, and advertising. Throughout his illustrious career, Andy has successfully brokered about $1 billion in real estate transactions. His diverse expertise spans leasing and development of land, office, industrial and retail properties. Andy’s experience includes spearheading the development of South County Commons in Rhode Island, an 850,000-square-foot lifestyle center that features retail spaces, offices, a hotel, apartments, senior housing, and luxury condominiums. Prior to his real estate ventures, Andy had a successful tenure in the advertising industry, working with major agencies and managing accounts for prestigious clients including AT&T, American Express, Sony, Nikon, Harvard Business School, and Miller Brewing Company. Andy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Providence College and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Clarkson University, with a concentration in Information Systems and Marketing. He is currently the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Ryan New Business Incubator at Providence College and serves as a mediator at the Rhode Island Center for Mediation. Beyond his professional life, Andy is actively involved in his community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Foxboro YMCA and the Board of Managers for the Hockomock YMCA. He is a devoted family man, married with four children, and is passionate about coaching sports. A die-hard New England Patriots fan, Andy also enjoys hiking, traveling, and long walks on the beach.

Mike Milano
Mike is licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He holds a membership in the National Association of Realtors. He is a graduate of Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. His past employment includes the Howard Johnson Company, First Security Services, Children’s Medical Center, and ReMax. Mike’s niche is boutique brokerage where he not only will sell investment property but will manage it for the buyer. He has earned a reputation of being friendly and professional with integrity and a vision for financial analytics. He is married, a father of four and a grandfather of 4.

Phil Orzech
Phil has 40 years of experience in sales, programming and management with Fortune 500 Companies IBM and Xerox, where he led national sales teams in information technology and was consistently a top performer. Since joining Spinnaker Group in 2020, Phil has brokered numerous multimillion-dollar transactions throughout the eastern United States, with a focus on identifying and repurposing auto salvage and scrap yards to achieve maximum value for both buyers and sellers. Phil graduated from Providence College in 1982 with a BA in Math and Computer Science, and earned an MBA/IS from Marist College in 1986. He has been actively involved in the lacrosse community as owner of PRO Lacrosse, coach at the high school and college level, and player. Interesting Fact: Phil was awarded the Carnegie Hero Medal for Heroism in 2018.

Steven C. Spirito, CPA
Steven brings a robust portfolio of business transactions, real estate investment, and business brokerage to his role at Spinnaker Group. With over 30 years of experience, Steven has successfully sold operating companies ranging from $1 million to $20 million. His real estate experience includes the acquisition, rehabilitation, and flipping of properties. Steven is currently concentrating on the sourcing of self-storage, distribution and industrial outdoor storage (IOS) properties for private equity funds, utilizing his extensive market knowledge to identify lucrative opportunities. Steven has experience assisting small to middle market companies secure debt or refinance existing debt. Steven began his career in public accounting and internal audit, which provided him with a solid foundation in financial oversight. He later transitioned into executive recruitment, where he spent 20 years, including 15 years as an owner of two successful firms. His entrepreneurial spirit led to the acquisition of one of his firms by a national staffing corporation in 1996. Since then, he has focused on real estate investment and business brokerage, blending his financial acumen with his passion for real estate. A licensed real estate agent with Spinnaker Group, Steven holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and is a Certified Public Accountant (NY). His diverse background and strategic approach make him a valuable asset in navigating complex real estate and business transactions. Steven resides in Edgewood, Rhode Island, with his wife, Nancy, and their daughter, Anya. The family enjoys frequent getaways to their Vermont home.

Kathy Burke, SRES
Kathy is a native Rhode Islander and grew up in Narragansett and South County. Her real estate experience in Rhode Island spans 26 years, with success in all facets of residential real estate which includes new construction home sales and design, selling and buying existing homes, office administration, transaction management and marketing. Most recently, Kathy worked as the on-site Sales & Design expert at South Shore Village, a 55+ community in South Kingstown, from its inception in 2016 through 2023. She is a certified Seniors Real Estate Specialist. Kathy believes that her personal client relationships develop through education, honest communication, and diligent customer service. By sharing knowledge, information and available resources with her clients, they are empowered to make informed decisions through their home selling/buying process. Often, this results in the creation of new friendships, where clients see her as a resource for their home decisions in the future. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Communications and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Kathy is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Her love and passion for coastal Rhode Island’s endless natural beauty is evident when she talks about all the adventure possibilities with her clients, especially those retiring to the area looking for fun and new experiences. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking the many area waterways, hiking, beachcombing, sailing and fishing. Kate McMorrow
Licensed in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Kate has spent the last 2.5 years building a strong foundation in real estate. Drawing on her background in education and leadership, she has quickly established herself as a dedicated and detail-oriented professional in the residential market. Since transitioning from an 11-year career in education, Kate has applied her strong analytical skills, developed during her studies in Mathematics and Education, to help clients navigate the complexities of buying and selling real estate. A graduate of Providence College (B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education) and with a Master's in School Leadership, Kate’s unique ability to manage, communicate, and guide people through important decisions has been instrumental in her success. Her keen understanding of market trends and her commitment to delivering results have earned her a growing reputation for client satisfaction. Kate’s move to The Spinnaker Group, Inc. has allowed her to expand her real estate expertise beyond residential transactions, focusing on commercial and investment properties. Her dedication to ongoing learning and adapting to client needs has equipped her to assist buyers and sellers across a range of real estate opportunities. In addition to her professional endeavors, Kate is an active member of her community. Residing in Blackstone, MA, she is a member-at-large of her local PTO and serves as a Career Coordinator and industry partner for the Cumberland High School Career and Tech programs. Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and their three young children when not helping clients achieve their real estate goals.
